Bamboo Martial Arts Training Practice Knife Fighting Stick Weapon Made in USA

This Bamboo training knife and fighting stick for martial arts practice was grown and hand crafted in USA.
It’s a decorative and functional throwback to ancient times, heat treated with open flame and burnished by hand, it’s durable and beautiful.
Carefully heating cured bamboo removes the starches,
and the natural oils contained in the plant are drawn to the surface and then immediately burnished by hand (with a touch of Howard's Orange Oil) that protects and polishes the bamboo.
This bespoke training knife fighting stick was hand crafted from a 3 year bamboo culm / AKA shoots. First year bamboo hasn't yet built up it's woody strength, and by year 4 begins to weaken if it remains in the ground.
Third year bamboo is the strongest.
Additionally, in order to support the weight of the tall flexible grass, the walls of the bamboo nearest the ground are the thickest and strongest and are therefore this martial arts practice weapon was made from the base section of bamboo.
The foot of the bamboo, what I call the crown of the fighting stick helps prevent it from rolling when laid down and acts as a pommel.  The business end is angle cut close to a node for strength and durability.
This martial arts training weapon measures just over 12 inches from tip to butt, weighs less than 3 ounces, feels great in the hand and is easy to wield.
This fighting stick training knife may be made of grass, but make no mistake, its skull-crackingly stout and in the right hands would leave an attacker unable to continue their attack!
